Rose Marie Tantillo
Rose Marie Tantillo, RN, BSN, JD, became licensed as a Registered Nurse in California in 1972, after studying at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles Medical Center School of Nursing and at the Samuel Merritt Hospital School of Nursing in Oakland. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from California State University Sacramento in 1978. Ms. Tantillo then obtained her Juris Doctorate from John F. Kennedy University School of Law in 1989. Upon graduation, she received the Outstanding Student Award and several American Jurisprudence Awards for academic excellence. She maintains her nursing license and is an Associate of the Center for Healthcare Ethics. In 2002, she was appointed to the Human Resources Commission of Sonoma County.
Ms. Tantillo's practice since admission to the Bar in 1990, has encompassed personal injury, toxic tort, medical malpractice, elder, family, and health care law. In the past, she has worked closely as an expert with the California Emergency Medical Authority on policies and procedures related to the implementation and use of Do Not Resuscitate Orders and Advance Directives.
