Megan M. Myers

Megan M. Myers joined Vasquez Estrada & Conway LLP in March 2009. Her practice concentrates on the defense of mass tort personal injury claims.  Prior to joining the firm, Megan served as an Assistant Public Defender in Placer County and in Lake County, California.  During her nearly 4 years as a criminal defense attorney, Megan represented clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases, and took numerous cases to verdict before juries.

Prior to serving as a Public Defender, Megan represented clients before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).  This work included appearing at the CPUC on behalf of organizations representing renewable energy providers, with a particular focus on solar distributed generation. She prepared witnesses for testimony before the Commission, and drafted briefs and other pleadings in furtherance of clean energy regulation and legislative policies. 

Megan received her B.A. in English from UC Santa Barbara in 2001; she graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2004.  Megan was admitted to the California Bar in December 2004, and is a native of San Francisco, California.
