Edward L. Hummer

Edward L. Hummer joined Vasquez Estrada & Conway LLP in April 2009. His practice is focused on the defense of toxic tort personal injury claims.

Prior to joining Vasquez Estrada & Conway, Edward worked in the Law Offices of Mullen & Filippi, LLP, representing employers and insurers in Workers' Compensation cases. Edward also worked as staff counsel for two major insurance carriers where he gained more than twelve years of experience representing defendants at trial in personal injury actions.

Edward graduated from the University of Kansas in 1987, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communications. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology's Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1992. While at Chicago-Kent, Edward served on the Student Bar Association's Finance Committee and worked as an extern in the Environmental Control Division of the Illinois Attorney General's office.

Edward was admitted to the California Bar in 1993 and is licensed to practice in all California Superior Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
