Matt S. Cole

Mr. Cole is a Senior Litigation Associate with Vasquez Estrada & Conway LLP. His practice currently focuses on products liability with an emphasis on toxic tort. His legal practice background includes a wide range of other areas including general business litigation, construction defect, environmental law, workers' compensation, insurance casualty and premises liability. Mr. Cole has handled many liability claims including those related to premises and auto. His workers' compensation experience includes numerous depositions and board hearings.

Mr. Cole oversees the day-to-day handling of cases and actively participates in all phases of litigation, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking plaintiffs' and experts' depositions, drafting and arguing motions for summary judgment, and trial preparation.

Mr. Cole earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1991, and his B.A. in English from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Cole is licensed to practice in California before all courts and the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California and the Ninth District Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.
